Gary Busey Charged With Criminal Sexual Contact after New Jersey Convention

Actor Gary Busey is facing four criminal charges, two involving sexual contact.

The Cherry Hill Police Department has confirmed charges related to the events of the Monster-Mania Convention hosted by the Doubletree Hotel.

After an investigation, the police made four charges against the 78-year-old actor.

Two counts of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, and one count of harassment.

Busey came to Cherry Hill as a book guest for Monster-Mania Con, a horror-themed fan event that happens semi-annually.

This isn't the first time Busey has been accused of sexual assault.

In 2016, the actor allegedly sexually assaulted a female Apprentice employee during the show.

In 1995, he was arrested on drug charges while taking a cocaine overdose at his Malibu home.

Busey is best known for supporting roles in film and TV throughout his career.

He was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for 1978's The Buddy Holly Story.
